AN INTERNATIONAL ONLINE QUIZ ENTITLED «IF THEY CALL UPON MY NAME MAGTYMGULY…» IS ANNOUNCED
International Online Quiz «If they call upon my name Magtymguly…» dedicated to the life and poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy that has become a treasure of world culture
REGULATIONS
I. The main of purpose of the competition
By the Decree of the honorable President of Turkmenistan for the celebration the 300th anniversary of the great Sage and the classical poet of the East Magtymguly Pyragy, in order to glorify the respect of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan our Hero Arkadag and our honorable President Arkadagly Hero Serdar to the great poet, their efforts to eternalize and publicize the creativity of Magtymguly, to get acquainted youth of the world the literary heritage of Turkmen Sage, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly announced an International Online Quiz named «If they call upon my name Magtymguly…» among the students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
II. The terms of the competition
The competition will be held in 3 languages (Turkmen, Russian and English) in form of a prepared quiz questions. The quiz includes the unique poetic and rich literary heritage of the poet's creativity, quotes of foreign writers about Magtymguly Pyragy as well as poems written by Magtymguly Pyragy about the humanistic principles and his wise advice. The Winners will be determined based on the correct answers and the time spent to take the quiz.
III. Results of the competition
Based on the results of the competition, the winners of the Grand Prize and the respective prizes, as well as distinguished participants, will be awarded with incentive gifts.
Candidates of the competition must fill out the online form “Questionnaire for Quiz Participants” posted on www.yashlar.gov.tm – the official website of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. Deadline for registration: May 14, 2024 (until 18:00). Registered students will be sent a link to enter the competition. The quiz will take place on May 15, 2024 from 15:00 to 18:00 (Ashgabat time).
Shortlisted winners will be notified by email. They will be awarded valuable gifts and certificates of honor from the organizers as part of the celebrations dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy. In addition, reviews and impressions of the winners of the International online quiz will be published on the official website of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and on “Arkadagly Ýaşlar” electronic magazine under the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
