VISIT OF LANZHOU UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVES TO TURKMENISTAN HAS STARTED
On November 26, 2025, a meeting with representatives of Lanzhou University took place at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by professors and lecturers from Lanzhou University and students of our institute. The meeting was held as part of the Chinese delegation's visit to our country, which will last from November 25 to November 30, 2025.
Familiarization tours of the institute were organized for the guests. They visited the National Museum of Turkmen Diplomacy and the German Library. After the tour, a lecture was organized for the students of our institute with the participation of the honored guests. The lecture was delivered by the Head of the Research Center for Turkmenistan at Lanzhou University, member of the China-Central Asia Friendship Association, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Professor Wang Sihai, and the Head of the Institute of International Cultural Exchanges at Lanzhou University, Professor Li Cunlin. During the lecture, the guests informed the students about the historical development of Turkmen-Chinese relations, which date back to ancient times.
Following the lecture, a meeting was held with the institute's professors and lecturers, during which modern teaching methods and the use of advanced digital technologies were discussed in detail.
As is known, during the esteemed President's visit to the People's Republic of China this year, bilateral meetings were held between members of the Turkmen delegation and representatives of the Chinese side, resulting in the signing of bilateral documents. Among these was a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Lanzhou University.
The holding of such events demonstrates the elevation of Turkmen-Chinese relations to a new level and serves as a lesson for improving the professional knowledge of future specialists in international relations.
