Video meeting with ambassador
In order to improve the level of diplomacy knowledge of the students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on May 31, 2021, the named institute hosted the first comprehensive online course for the its students with the heads of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan abroad. The first online course was conducted through the video communication system between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Austria Sylapberdi Nurberdiyev and the students of the Institute of International Relations on the theme “Cooperation with Turkmenistan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe”.
The current state and prospects of Turkmenistan's cooperation with the OSCE were discussed during the meeting. The Honorable Ambassador spoke in detail about the work of the organization in the field of security in the region, including terrorism, the fight against drug trafficking and human trafficking.
The meeting was focused on the important role of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat in the development of joint initiatives and projects in Turkmenistan on the introduction of modern digital media.
The participants exchanged views on the further development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).At the end of the meeting the participants expressed confidence that the cooperation would be further strengthened and developed.
