THE 3RD SPECIAL COURSE FOR DIPLOMATS FROM CENTRAL ASIA HAS BEEN STARTED IN THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
On October 14, 2024, the 3rd Special Course for Diplomats of Central Asia began at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The trainings will last until October 25. Teachers from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Nepesov Meylis and Gylyshaev Meylis, also take part in the training.
As is known, in 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
Well-known professors, politicians and diplomats will speak at trainings taking place in India for diplomats from Central Asian countries. The Sushma Swaraj Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India will conduct classes on topics related to the foreign policy of the Republic of India, as well as the high-level relations established by this country with the countries of Central Asia. In addition, various cultural programs are planned for training participants.
From the first days of independence, Turkmenistan has established friendly and equal cooperation with the peoples of the world in the field of international relations. Such relations between Turkmenistan and the Government of India, rooted in ancient times, are enriched with new and effective meaning. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on April 20, 1992.
Turkmenistan and India are united by multilateral relations based on the principles of friendly cooperation. The favorable location of Turkmenistan from a geopolitical and geo-economic context contributes to the continuation of the ancient traditions of active interstate relations, the development of trade, economic and humanitarian ties between the Turkmen and Indian peoples.
