ETERNAL FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN NATIONS: FLOWER-LAYING CEREMONY HELD WITH CHINESE DELEGATION
On May14, 2026, a solemn flower-laying ceremony was held with the participation of delegation from the People’s Republic of China and students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The ceremony began at the majestic monument of Magtymguly Fragi, the great thinker and poet of the East. Participants paid tribute to the literary heritage of the Turkmen people, emphasizing that the wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi serves as a spiritual foundation for our diplomatic relations.
During the event, the participants visited the monument of the famous Chinese poet Du Fu. Laying flowers of the monument symbolized the deep respect for Chinese culture and the strengthening of humanitarian ties between the two friendly nations.
This event, held with the participation of young diplomats who are the future of Independent Turkmenistan, became of great importance in developing international friendship and further increasing the pride of student youth in our national culture and its connection to the world.
