The International Youth Forum has started its work
The International Youth Forum, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, is being held via videoconferencing from 19 to 20 April 2022. The high-level meeting is attended by representatives of the Ministries of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education, Finance and Economy, as well as the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Magtymguly Youth Organization and the Young Ambassadors for Sustainable Development Goals. Its main purpose is to discuss the implementation of the agenda until 2030 after COVID-19.
During the Youth Forum the special role of young people in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, the importance of becoming highly skilled professionals, including the importance of cleanliness and healthy lifestyles were discussed in detail. The Forum participants also had the opportunity to ask questions of their interest.
