International conference ITTC-2023 starts in Ashgabat
On May 3, 2023, the International Conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development" (ITTC-2023) has started in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The organizers of the event are the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the agencies "Turkmendemiryollary", "Turkmenavtoulaglary", "Turkmenhowayollary", "Turkmendenizyollary", "Turkmenaragatnashyk", and "Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan" in partnership with the NGO "Turkmen Forum". The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by members of the government, heads of ministries and departments, international diplomatic missions, media, and educational institutions. At the opening ceremony, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov delivered a speech entitled "International Transport Corridors: Interconnection and Development - 2023" to the participants of the 2nd international conference and exhibition. International logistics and forwarding companies such as "Vitol", "Meno Logistics", "Boeing", "Dragon Oil", "Fly Dubai", "Airbus", "Cargo Lux", International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Shipping Agency (ICS), International Automobile Transport Association (IRU), as well as "Transport-Logistics Center of Turkmenistan" and more than 800 representatives of "Turkmen Logistics Association" presented various exhibit values describing the development of the transport system. The exhibition provided a wide opportunity to get acquainted with new technologies and products, modern services of the international transport infrastructure. At the international transport conference, sessions were held on such topics as "International transport and logistics: challenges and opportunities", "Transport-logistics interaction of the modern economy", "The latest approaches to digitalization in trade and logistics". The rich business program of ITTC - 2023, in addition to the conference and exhibition, provides for the signing of memorandums and contracts, seminars, round tables, where local and foreign experts will be introduced to modern technological solutions in the field of transport and logistics. On May 4, 2023, the international conference and exhibition "International Transport Corridors: Interconnection and Development - 2023" will continue its work.
