Scientific-practical conference “Institute of Neutrality in International Relations: World experience and the National Model”
On December 23, 2021, the scientific-practical conference was held, organized by the Research Center for Strategic Studies of Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This scientific conference was dedicated to the historical significance of the policy of our Neutrality, its experience and the important issues of applying the fundamental principles underlying this policy in finding solutions to various problems in the field of international relations.
The experts from the research center, professors, teachers and students of the institute attended this conference. At the scientific-practical conference the speakers underlined that Turkmen Neutrality has become an effective tool for coordinating mutual interests in the field of international relations over the past historical period and the opportunities would provide to regional and international peace, security and sustainable development.
At the end of the conference, the experts from the Research Center for Strategic Studies and professors of the Institute emphasized that the importance of improving the scientific and theoretical foundations of neutrality policy and the need to form new scientific approaches for using in the successful implementation of the foreign policy of the country and this is one of the main aspects of the Research Center.
