THE III INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION “INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: CULTURE OF PEACEFULL DIALOGUE” HAS BEEN LAUNCHED
On May 11, 2026, the III International Competition “International Relations: Culture of Peacefull Dialogue” was solemnly launched at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This prestigious intellectual competition brought together talented student youth and future diplomats from all over the world.
At the opening ceremony of the competition, Gulshat Yusupova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Narine Sahakyan, Permanent Representative of the UNDP in Turkmenistan, Zhang Jian, Professor of the China Foreign Affairs University, the Director of the Center for Central Asian Studies, and Ulyana Mizerovskaya, the Dosent of the Patrice Lumamba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the Candidate of Economic Sciences, made speeches on the International competition making a special contribution to improving the skills of young people in the culture of mutual peace dialogue.
About 160 representatives from 13 most prestigious higher education institutions of 9 countries, including the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, the United Kingdom, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as representatives from 24 higher education institutions of our country participated in the competition and contested with each other.
The aim of this competition, organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, is to promote widely the Culture of International dialogue among young people. During the competition, students were able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills on modern methods of peaceful dialogue in International Relations, the significance of the policy of Neutrality, and the complex issues of cultural diplomacy. This competition is considered to be not only a test of knoweledge, but an important platform for exchanging experience and strengthening friendly relations between higher educational institutions of different countries.
