SEMINAR “EXPERIENCE IN PREVENTING INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION DISPUTES”
On December 28, 2022, a seminar on the topic “Experience in Preventing International Arbitration Disputes” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was organized by the Department of International Law and Comparative Jurisprudence for the graduate students majoring in international private law and international public law. The seminar was conducted by the Head of “Hukukchy” Economic Society, Doctor of Law, Gurbanov Jumamyrat Hemrayevich.
During the seminar, the speaker discussed about the types of international arbitrations: institutional arbitration and ad hoc arbitration, international commercial and investment arbitrations and bilateral investment protection agreements signed by Turkmenistan, the experience of drafting bilateral investment agreements and negotiating their conclusion. He gave a detailed account of the legal principles.
At the end of the course, graduate students adressed the lawyer with their questions and widened their knowledge.
