An Online Training Session Dedicated to 30 th Anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan and Motto of the Year
On March 11, 2025, an online training session was held at the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
dedicated to the declaration of 2025 as the “Year 2025 - Year of International
Peace and Trust” and the remarkable 30th anniversary of Permanent Neutrality of
Turkmenistan, as well as in accordance with the Concept of Turkmenistan’s
activities and priorities during the Year of International Peace and Trust. The
session was conducted by Chary Niyazov, Associate Professor of the Department
of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Master Diplomat of Turkmenistan, Candidate of
Technical Sciences. Mentor diplomat delivered a speech on the topic
“Turkmenistan’s Neutrality Diplomacy and International Initiatives towards
Benevolent Cooperation”. Students from all higher education institutions of our
country participated in the online training session.
At the beginning of the session, the master diplomat Chary Niyazov
emphasized the importance of creative foreign policy strategy based on the
principles of peace-loving, good neighborliness, effective cooperation at the
regional and global levels is being implemented by Turkmenistan and explained
the meaning of declaring 2025 as the “Year of International Peace and Trust”. The
foreign policy and diplomacy of our Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan, based on
the principles of peace and trust, aimed at creating significant opportunities in the
international space for the implementation of our long-term national programs. In
this regard, mentor diplomat highlighted that high demands are placed on the
diplomatic service of our country in implementing of our foreign policy.
At the end of the online training session, the master diplomat noted that the
foreign policy initiatives of Independent, permanent Neutral Turkmenistan support
peace, equality, and friendly cooperation in the world.
