MEETING WITH GERMAN REPRESENTATIVES WAS HELD
On October 15, 2025, a training session was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of representatives from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Research Foundation (DFG). Lecturers, and students of the institute took part in the event.
The purpose of the meeting was to hold bilateral discussions, exchange views on issues of international cooperation, and conduct conversations with students. During the session, experts emphasized that Turkmen students’ participation in summer language courses contributes to further expanding scientific and educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany.
After the training session with the students, a separate meeting was held with the lecturers. During this meeting, professors and lecturers exchanged ideas with the experts on new methods and advanced practices in teaching foreign languages.
It should also be noted that the German Academic Exchange Service, which is one of the main providers of scholarships for foreign students in Germany, has long-standing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of foreign language education. Since 1997, DAAD has been conducting consultations in Turkmenistan on studying in Germany, offering scholarship programs for university students, graduates, and researchers.
The programs of the German Academic Exchange Service in Turkmenistan are aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries in the fields of science, education, and culture.
