TRAINING SEMINAR ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COURSE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS ON GENDER-RESPONSIVE MANAGEMENT
From May 29th to May 3rd, 2023 Representative Office of the Development Program UN in Turkmenistan within the framework of the project between UNDP and the Institute state, law and democracy of Turkmenistan "Providing assistance in implementation of the National Action Plan for Human Rights in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025”, as well as in collaboration with UNFPA conducted a training seminar on the development of a course for civil servants on gender-responsive management. The purpose of the seminar is to assist in the development of a training program for civil servants on gender-responsive management. Representatives of various structures of Turkmenistan, such as the General Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Academy of Civil Service under President of Turkmenistan, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, International University for Humanities and Development, Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly attended to the training seminar. During the seminar, topics such as gender and gender equality, gender policy of Turkmenistan, gender analysis and statistics were discussed. Active participation in such training events in many ways contributes to the further development and improvement of knowledge and skills in gender-responsive management.
