FOLLOWING THE RESULTS OF THE TURKMEN-BAHRAINI TALKS AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
On February 23, 2023, a meeting has been held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of teaching staff and students of the Institute. The primary topic of the meeting was the recent official visit of the President of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Bahrain where was held a meeting between the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov where the parties discussed priority issues of developing bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
In conclusion of the negotiations, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded with the highest state award of the Kingdom of Bahrain - the first class order named after Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. Thanking for this high award, Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that he considers it a sign of respect for Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people.
During the meeting at the Institute students discussed priority issues of developing bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres between two countries.
