A SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR ENTITLED «PHILOSOPHY – THE FOUNDATION OF ALL SCIENCES»
On November 19, 2024, a scientific seminar titled «Philosophy – the Foundation of All Sciences» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Professors and lecturers of the institute, members of the scientific club «Paýhas we parasat», as well as students of the institute participated in the event.
The seminar began with the screening of a video dedicated to the life and work of the great Eastern thinker, philosopher, and poet Makhtumkuli Fragi. The seminar was organized and conducted by Ogulgurban Sapargeldiyevna Ezimova, a lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences and a candidate of philosophical sciences. In her speech, she emphasized the scientific basis of philosophical ideas such as dialogue, humanism, and mutual understanding, as initiated by Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
During the seminar, presentations were made by Dilber Hekimova, a lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences; Yhlas Hallyyev, a second-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism; as well as Erem Dovletmyradov, fourth-year student from the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
The participants of the seminar discussed the history of the development of philosophical science, the moral and humanistic aspects of philosophy, and the role of Maghtymguly Fragi’s creative legacy in fostering patriotism among the younger generation.
Special attention was also given to the importance of celebrating “World Philosophy Day” annually on the third Thursday of November. It was emphasized that organizing such scientific events within the framework of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy is highly significant for the spiritual and moral development of individuals.
The participants of the seminar expressed their gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the great opportunities provided for education, scientific work, and creative endeavors.
