An Online Seminar on «Artificial Intelligence» and «Learning Analytics» Through Digital Systems
On May 3, 2024, based on a plan approved by the Minister of Education of
Turkmenistan, an online seminar was held with the participation of teachers, staff,
and responsible specialists from higher and secondary schools specializing in IT.
The event was organized to disseminate advanced practices in the fields of Digital
Education, Digital Economy, and Cybersecurity from both national and
international educational institutions.
During the seminar, Myrat Durdymyradov, a third-year student specializing
in Economics and Management at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and
Construction, gave a presentation titled «Modern Solutions for the Education
System Based on AI Technologies.» He highlighted interesting, real-life examples
related to the topic.
Additionally, Mergen Saparov, the head of the Information and Teaching
Aids Department at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas
University, gave a detailed presentation on the features of the «Learning
Analytics» tool integrated into the Moodle platform, followed by a Q&A session
on the topic.
The main purpose of the online seminar was to discuss how to effectively
use digital systems in educational institutions within the country and to emphasize
the importance of training capable young people to manage these systems.
