“EL HÜNÄRI – IL GEZER” FESTIVE CULTURAL CELEBRATION
On May 21, 2026, the First Women’s Organization of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in cooperation with the “Ýaşlyk” Television and Radio Channel, organized a musical and cultural celebration entitled “El Hünäri – Il Gezer” on the occasion of Turkmen Carpet Day and Eid al-Adha (Gurban Bayramy).
The faculty members of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, members of the musical ensemble, amateur performana group, and students with a keen interest in artistic and creative activities attended the event.
During the celebration, speakers highlighted the art of the Turkmen carpet weaving, the history and significance of Eid al-Adha, its distinctive traditions and customs, as well as the rich national heritage of the Turkmen people. Assembled artists of the Institute presented songs and musical compositions that glorify and celebrate the nation’s cultural legacy.
The engaging presentations and the beautiful musical performances delivered throughout the event left a lasting and positive impression on all participants.
