Training sessions on Sustainable Development Goals
On November 10, 2021 training sessions on Sustainable Development Goals have been held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan. The sessions have been organized by the Scientific and Methodological Centre for Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with the programme for the academic year 2021-2022. During the sessions, representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, the Secretariat of the Interstate Commission for Sustainable Development of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, as well as Director of the National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan delivered speeches respectively on Sustainable Development Goal 3, Good Health and Well-being, Sustainable Development Goal 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Sustainable Development Goal 13, Climate Action, including Sustainable Development Goal 15, Life on Land.
During the sessions, the speakers focused on the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population, regularly doing physical exercises and various kinds of sports, ensuring decent work and economic development, as well as protection of the land and ecosystems.
At the end of the sessions, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to our highly respected President for the wide opportunities.
