Excursion to the State Museum
On June 9, 2021, teaching staff and student youth of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan visited the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The excursion was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan. During the excursion, students visited the Museum of Ethnography and Local Lore, the Museum of history of Turkmenistan and the Museum of the President of Turkmenistan of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Teaching staff and students of the Institute had an opportunity to get acquainted and observe embroidery patterns of the “kurte” prepared by the mother of the nation Ogulabat eje as a wedding gift to her sister-in-law. Also, they witnessed that although half a century has passed, the color of the handicraft remain the same. In addition, they received extensive information about the life and tools of the ancient Turkmens, which they used in their daily lives, the history of the monuments discovered during the excavations and their scientific analysis, as well as about gifts from foreign countries presented to the highly esteemed President of Turkmenistan.
