Creative Meeting Was Held
On October 30, 2026, a creative meeting titled “International Cooperation in the Media Space and the Master-Apprentice School” was held. The event was organized by the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
At the opening of the meeting, participants viewed an exhibition in the foyer of the academic building of the institute. It featured national cuisine and clothing from Central Asian countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan, alongside an exhibition dedicated to the students’ future profession. These exhibitions serve as a primary tool for cultural diplomacy, playing a vital role in bringing nations closer together and strengthening friendship and brotherhood. The presentation of foreign dishes at the exhibition sparked great interest among the attendees.
During the event, speeches were delivered by Gulshat Yusupova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, as well as Bekdurdy Amansaryyew, the Senior Researcher at the Scientific Center for Strategic Research.
Additionally, on behalf of the institute, honorary certificates and gifts were presented to students of the Faculty of International Journalism who have been actively publishing and contributing to the mass media. Following the award ceremony, the students met with Gulshat Annakova, a well-known national journalist. The guest shared engaging stories from her career. During the meeting, students exchanged views with the master journalist and asked questions about topics of interest to them.
