A lesson in diplomatic etiquette
On July 13, 2023 a training course on the ethical principles of being a diplomat was held at the “Yyldyz” Hotel in Ashgabat. This course was organized as part of the study experience of the 1st year students of the faculty of International Relations.
The training course was conducted by Hajimuhammet Seyidov director of the “ Yyldyz” hotel. During the course H. Seyidov told the students about diplomatic protocol and generally recognized principles of international etiquette, rules of welcoming foreign guests, rules of behavior in restaurants and at the table, as well as the basics of organizing receptions. At the end of the meeting the students asked H. Seyidov questions they were interested in and received appropriate answers.
The regular organization of such practical classes during the training experience greatly helps the trainees to study their profession more thoroughly.
