for a brain-ring competition “Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace”
organized on the occasion of the Day of Diplomats of Turkmenistan by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan together with the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan among
the students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University,
the International University for the Humanities and Development and the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and
• In order to implement the Concept of Implementation of the Concept for the Improving the Teaching of Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan, approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the geopolitical and geo-economic, legal, cultural and humanitarian aspects of the “Foreign Policy Concept of Neutral Turkmenistan for 2017-2023”. Particular attention should be paid to the expansion and deepening of interstate relations in the current foreign policy, the implementation of the humanitarian foreign policy of the state of Turkmenistan based on peace-loving, good-neighborliness, the use of modern technologies, their interest in creativity, to reveal talents and to develop their intellects, on the occasion of the Day of Diplomats of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affair of Turkmenistan, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan together with the Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, announces the competition is to hold a brain ring competition among a group of students from the Institute of International Relations, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages,
General rules
• This Regulation defines the goals, objectives, procedure and conditions of the brain-ring competition.
• The main purpose of the competition:
• To promote peace-loving humanitarian policy, which is the national diplomatic principle of Turkmenistan;
• In the new geopolitical environment of the third millennium, the global military-strategic competition is intensifying, the scope of the conflict is widening and activating, resulting in unpredictable, global instability. Therefore, there is the need for a new philosophy in international relations to address the issues of universal development, achieve sustainable development, global stability, disarmament, implement environmental programs.
• To achieve that young people need to re-establish a culture of mutual trust, first and foremost, in order to solve common human problems with the participation of all members of the United Nations;
• To expand scientific and cultural relationships among young people.
• Procedure for the competition
• The competition is open to students from the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages (6 students in each group).
• With the participation of the participating teams in advance, the competition queue and the team to be determined will be determined;
• The team leader will answer 5 questions asked by the competition moderator by first pressing the volume key on the table in English;
• The questions to be asked in the competition will be divided into the following areas:
• “National diplomatic principle of Turkmenistan – peaceful humanitarian policy”;
• “Turkmenistan’s international initiatives and resolutions”;
• “History and prospects of transport and energy diplomacy of our country”;
• Turkmenistan is a reliable partner of the United Nations;
• A list of sources and literature to be prepared for questioning will be posted on the website of the IIR of the MFAT;
• Each question will be given 1 minute to answer.
• 1 point for each correct answer;
• The team with the most scores will qualify for the next round;
• The team that scores the most points in all rounds will be declared the winner of the competition.
• All the details of the competition will be posted on the websites of the mentioned higher educational institutions and on the digital education portal.
• According to the results of the competition, the judges will present letters of honour, souvenirs in the nominations “Best Team” and “Best Student”, and the winners will be eligible to take part in the festive concert dedicated to the Day of Diplomats of Turkmenistan.
Procedure for determining and rewarding winners
A special neutral panel of judges is set up to give a fair assessment to the contestants.
The referees will score 1 point for each student’s answer and will conclude by adding those points.
The decision of the jury is final.
