A CREATIVE READING COMPETITION WAS HELD
On April 27, 2026, within the framework of the Lingvo World Scientific Club of the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a creative reading competition in foreign languages titled “Languages – Key to Open the World” was held among senior students of Institute’s Partner schools.
The competition was based on the works of the Esteemed President and Hero Arkadag. This modern educational method of creative reading competition demonstrated the effectiveness of innovative approaches in teaching the rich history and language of the Turkmen people and their interconnections. The competition was conducted in English and Turkmen, contributing to a deeper and ever lasting acquisition of knowledge and vocabulary by students.
The historical facts, legends, and examples of folk art presented during the competition not only enriched vocabulary but also played an important role in developing students’ national awareness. The participants were divided into two teams, and the competition ended in a draw.
By sharing legends, wise sayings, and moral teachings that impressed them, the students further enriched the content of the event.
