INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DAY PROPER STUDY ADVICE LAUNCHED
As it is known, every year on June 1, International Children's Day is widely celebrated in all countries of the world, as well as in our country Turkmenistan. On the occasion of this significant event, festive celebrations and cultural events are held in all regions of our country for children.
On May 31, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a training session was held with the participation of the Deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Enejan Ataeva, in order to promote the International Day for the Protection of Children in the organization of the "Young Lawyers" scientific organization of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law. Students of our institute took part in it.
Speaker noted that many international documents, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child, are a mandatory condition for the protection of children's rights. In accordance with our Constitution, which is our Basic Law, on the protection of children's rights inherent in a truly democratic society, adopted by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, "On Education", "On State Policy for Youth in Turkmenistan", "On State Guarantees of Children's Rights", "On Guaranteeing the Right to Employment of Youth" and stated that it is reflected in other laws.
Considering the basic rights of children, such as the right to life, the right to full development, the right on protection from harm, the right on protection from neglect and the exploitation of their labor, and the right to full participation in family cultural life and activities.
Turkmenistan ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1994. Since then, our country has been closely cooperating with UNICEF to achieve positive reforms in the lives of children in health, education, life protection and child protection, as well as climate change related systems.
At the end of the course, the further prosperity of the Independent and Permanent Neutral Motherland was wished. We wish to sound strong of our Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar who take care of a happy future of our people, especially for the young generation and the prosperity of our Motherland.
