Event Dedicated to Earth Day
On April 20, 2023, an event dedicated to World Earth Day was organized by
the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) office in Turkmenistan in
partnership with the "Bouygues Turkmen" company. The event brought together
Youth Ambassadors for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as
schoolchildren. The Youth Ambassadors shared their experiences and insights with
the eager young participants.
During the event, the students presented speeches on the theme of
"Environmental Protection," where they also had the opportunity to engage in a
question-and-answer session about topics that piqued their interest. At the end of
the event, all the participants joined together to plant tree saplings and captured the
moment with a commemorative group photo.
