A training course dedicated to the United Nations Day
On October 21, 2022, a training course on the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the founding day of the United Nations. Students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations took an active part in this training course and got acquainted with the work of the organization.
The Economic and Social Council of the United Nations is one of the main organs of the United Nations and coordinates the work of the economic, social, healthcare and education sectors, as well as the work of the United Nations and its specialized agencies. The organization's mandate includes promoting economic and social progress, including improving people's living standards and ensuring full employment, and developing ways to address international economic, social, and healthcare issues.
Conducting such training courses helps students to gain deep knowledge about the cooperation of our country with the United Nations.
