EDUCATED GENERATION – A KEY TO A BRIGHT FUTURE
The youth policy is being implemented with special attention, and effective work is being carried out to expand the opportunities for young people to receive education and achieve professional development, under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, and our esteemed President, Hero Arkadagly Serdar, in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of the Powerful State. Certainly, the role of the younger generation in the development of the state is very important, and their education and creativity are an essential foundation for the future.
As was widely noted in the respected President’s book “Youth - the Support of the Motherland”, state youth policy is aimed at educating the younger generation as highly educated, spiritually and physically healthy, creative and devoted to their Homeland. Among the priority areas of the national strategy are ensuring the legal and social protection of young citizens, popularizing the spiritual, moral and cultural values traditionally inherent in the Turkmen people, promoting healthy lifestyle, fostering patriotism, humanism, and civic responsibility in young people, as well as supporting and stimulating their initiatives.
A clear demonstration of this is the assignment of graduating students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to internships at the embassies and consular offices of our country abroad. This is important not only for improving their knowledge, but also for developing professional skills, gaining experience, and fostering an ethical culture in future young diplomats.
We, Arslan Syyahatov and Kerim Baymyradov, the 5th year students of the Faculty of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, started our practical training at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran on September 1, 2025. From the first days of our internship, by preparing diplomatic letters, notes and other documents, analyzing reports, as well as participating in high-level meetings and events, as young internationalists, we achieve deep professional and personal development not only through theoretical knowledge, but also through experience.
Studying the complex and multifaceted aspects of diplomacy in practice contributes further development of our political and cultural understanding, as well as negotiation skills. In addition, we also thoroughly study the skills of conducting negotiations with representatives of different countries, organizing meetings. Furthermore, taking advantage of the opportunity to become more closely acquinted with the politics, culture, economy, language, and history of our neighboring state, the Islamic Republic of Iran, we are perfecting the knowledge which gained in theory.
We would like to wish our Hero Arkadag, and our esteemed President, Arkdagly Hero Serdar, who are creating wide opportunities for the younger generation to become as educated, patriotic, capable, skilled, healthy, and accomplished professionals, sound strong, long life, prosperous and happy living, and great success in their noble work for the further flourishing of our beloved Motherland!
Kerim BAYMYRADOV,
