TRAINING SEMINAR

On October 11, 2023, a training seminar was held for students who studies at the faculty of law organized by the experts of the Council of Europe participating in the international consultation on the functioning of legal institutions at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, International University for the Humanities and Development, and Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly participated in this seminar. Director of the Human Rights Department of the Council of Europe Sergey Dikman, Legal Advisor of the Council of Europe Eva Massa, Coordinator of Human Rights of the Council of Europe Kristina Hahlova participated in the seminar. The expert of the Council of Europe told in detail about the Council of Europe and the improvement of its legal regulations.
As it is noted in the seminar, expansion of cooperation with the Council of Europe is one of the priorities of the foreign policy strategy, which is successfully implemented under the leadership of the President. It was emphasized that over many years, the cooperation with the Council of Europe has been effectively developed within the framework of special projects and programs aimed at solving the priority tasks of further economic and social development of Turkmenistan. Particular attention was paid to the fact that Turkmenistan, as a democratic, legal and secular state, as well as the initiatives aimed at solving the problems of the global agenda, including the strengthening of high humanitarian doctrines and values.
