Meaning and usage of idioms in the English language
Scientific-educational seminar was organized at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan which entitled "Meaning and usage of idioms in the English language".
Students and Teachers of the Department of World Languages participated in this scientific-educational seminar. The teacher of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Orazova Hallybagt, gave a speech in English on the topic "Meaning and usage of idioms in the English language". Basically, she talked about the influence of proverbs and idioms to study the peculiarities of the English language. Questions and answers were exchanged. Various interesting facts about Turkmen and English languages were also noted.
