6 Documents Related to the Education System Were Signed in Ashgabat
On October 10, 2024, a document-signing ceremony was held in the conference hall of the «Sport» hotel in the capital, with the participation of the mass media. The event aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of science and education between higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.
The representatives of the participating higher educational institutions emphasized the importance of friendship and mutual cooperation between the heads of state. They highlighted their commitment to further developing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the fields of science, education, and socio-economic affairs.
Bilateral and multilateral relations in scientific and educational fields have been further developed as a result of the policy of neutrality, good neighborliness, and the "Open Door" approach led by the President. This policy successfully continues the grand visions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people during the Revival of the New Epoch of a Powerful State. Strengthening and expanding cooperation with countries around the world in the fields of science and education is one of the key directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy.
During the event, the following documents were signed:
— A Memorandum of Understanding between the International University for the Humanities and Development and the "1 December 1918" University in Alba Iulia, Romania;
— A Memorandum of Understanding between the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan and Sungkyunkwan University in the Republic of Korea;
— A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi and Gomel State University named after Francis Skorina in the Republic of Belarus;
— A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institute of Turkmen National World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi and Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation;
— An Agreement on Cooperation between the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation;
— An Agreement on Cooperation between the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
The representatives of the higher education institutions expressed their gratitude to the heads of state for the ongoing interstate cooperation, particularly in the fields of science and education.
