THE MATCH BETWEEN “ARKADAG” AND “AL-NASSR” TEAMS IN THE SPOTLIGHT OF WORLD MEDIA
On February 11, 2026, a football match that resonated not only in our country but also throughout the sports world of Asia took place. The match between Turkmenistan's champion team “Arkadag” and Saudi Arabia's world-renowned “Al-Nassr” provided unforgettable moments for football fans. After the game, a press conference that attracted significant international attention was held at the media center. Representatives of leading global sports publications, media professionals, famous sports journalists, as well as members of a media group consisting of students studying journalism at higher educational institutions of our country and professors working in this field, attended the event.
During the conference, discussions were held about the technical aspects of the game and the development of football. The head coaches of both teams shared their thoughts about the match. Participants expressed high appreciation for Turkmenistan's experience in organizing such major events and for its hospitality.
The match between “Arkadag” and “Al-Nassr”, along with the press conference organized afterward, once again clearly demonstrated that Turkmen football's position in the international arena is steadily strengthening.
