Lecture was held on the occasion of Arabic Language Day
On December 26, 2025, a lecture was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, organized by the Department of World Languages, dedicated to the “December 18, Arabic Language Day” proclaimed by the United Nations, as well as with the aim of explaining the significance of the initiative of the Esteemed President to practically implement the resolutions of the UN General Assembly on “Promoting Dialogue among Cultures and Supporting Multilingualism in International Relations” and to proclaim the International Day of Multilingual Diplomacy. The lecture was conducted by the Arabic language teacher D.Atanazarov. Students and faculty members of the Institute actively participated in the lecture.
At the beginning of the lecture, Arabic language teacher D.Atanazarov delivered a detailed presentation on the structure of the Arabic language, the countries where Arabic is spoken, and the importance of the Arabic language in international relations. Subsequently, students of the Institute who had participated in study visits to Arabic-speaking countries gave presentations. Our students, Mammedova Mahriban and Parahadova Gulchemen, delivered engaging presentations on the state system, history, and culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and shared their personal experiences.
At the end of the lecture, students exchanged questions and answers on topics of interest. The organization of such lectures fosters strong motivation among students to learn foreign languages. Expressing their gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunities provided, the students wished great success and prosperity in the endeavors being carried out in the country.
