“YOUNG MESSENGERS OF PEACE”: THE V QUALIFYING ROUND OF THE IV SEASON WAS HELD
On February 12, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the V qualifying round of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peace,” held under the general motto of the IV season: “The Peacemaking Diplomacy of Neutral Turkmenistan – A Reliable Tool for Effective Cooperation and Sustainable Development.” The latest qualifying round of this intellectual competition was dedicated to the topic: “Turkmenistan’s Economic Diplomacy: A Model of Cooperation for National Prosperity, Global Well-being, and Sustainable Development.” Talented 12th-grade students from various regions of the country took part in an exciting and intense intellectual contest: Soyench Ashirov (School No. 52, Ashgabat), Atajan Begdurdyev (School No. 29, Sakarchage District, Mary Velayat), Sylapberdi Charyev (School No. 18, Lebap Velayat), Guychmyrat Gulamov (School No. 98, Buzmeyin District, Ashgabat), Dovletnazar Haknazarov (School No. 1, Ak Bugday District, Ahal Velayat),Mahri Myradova (School No. 49 with a specialization in mathematics and English, Ashgabat), Selim Otuzov (School No. 26, Dashoguz Velayat), Mekan Orayev (School No. 87 with a specialization in foreign languages, Ashgabat).
The jury, composed of leading specialists in their respective fields, fairly assessed the knowledge and intellectual abilities of the participants. Members of the “Council of Wise Experts” included: Senior Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Begench Karayev, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Finance of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance Merjen Amanova, Head of the Department for Studying Trade Turnover in Domestic and Foreign Markets of the Ministry of Trade and Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Batyr Berdiyev. The contest was held with the support of the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization and the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan. Winners and participants were awarded souvenirs, as well as honorary certificates from the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan. The V qualifying round of the IV season of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peace” was recorded in collaboration with the “Miras” TV channel of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography, as well as the training studio of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan. In the coming days, viewers will be able to watch the competition on “Miras” TV.
