A Public Tree-Planting Ceremony
On November 9, 2024, a public tree-planting ceremony was held in our country, with instructors and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan actively participating in this noble endeavor. This event clearly demonstrates the successful implementation of the national program aimed at transforming our country into a green state.
As we know, our national traditions of environmental protection, inherited from our ancestors, are highly valued today. Every year, public tree-planting ceremonies are organized nationwide, during which hundreds of thousands of different types of plants are planted. As these plants grow, they enrich the Turkmen landscape with greenery and further deepen our people’s love for nature. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure ecological well-being throughout the country and to effectively implement the goals outlined in the National Strategy on Climate Change and the National Forest Program.
In addition to planting new seedlings, attention was also given to the care and maintenance of previously planted trees and mature gardens across the country. During this year’s public tree-planting ceremony, students and instructors of our Institute planted saplings on the premises of both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and our Institute, ensuring that the newly planted trees received proper care. This uplifting and widely celebrated event brought enthusiasm and a shared commitment to greening our country.
