“Ahal's” first host match in the AFC Champions League
On September 19, 2023, “Ahal's” first host match in the AFC Champions League was held.
"Ahal" - "Al-Feyha" game was watched by around 19966 fans. The guests from different parts of the country, students of higher educational institutions, as well as the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan attended this football match. The match was refereed by a panel of judges led Jordanian referee Adam Mahadmeh. The game ended with the victory of "Ahal" with a score of 1:0. Elman Tagayev scored the only goal that brought victory to the home team in the 51st minute of the match. At the press conference after the game, the head coach of Saudi Arabia's "Al- Feyha" team, Vuk Rashovich, praised the Turkmen fans who were able to support "Ahaly" football plays. As far as we know, "Ahal" will be the guest of "Al-Ain" in the UAE in the next round of the AFC Champions League. "Al-Feyha" will host "Pahtakory" of Uzbekistan. Both matches will be held on October 3, 2023.
