Children Are the Future of the World
World Children's Day is celebrated every year on November 20, because on this day in 1989, the Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted. As an international document of the United Nations, the Convention contains universal standards that States must guarantee for every child. The Convention was signed by 196 countries, making it the fastest and most widely accepted agreement in the field of international human rights in history. In this way, the world promised that all children would be guaranteed equal rights and that it would do everything to protect and ensure their rights to survive, develop, learn and reach their full potential, without discrimination.
Children are the future of the world. They are going to be the leaders of tomorrow and are going to make choices that will directly affect our generation.
A child is the greatest treasure in a person's life. It’s the first stage of life which we enjoy in whatever we like. Besides, this is the time that shapes up the future. We, parents love and care for our children and the children to the same too. Moreover, it’s the golden period of life in which we can teach our children everything. The most important characteristics of a child is that of his innocence and helpful nature. So, the main component which decides how the person is going to be in the future or the present is the amount of education he/she has within them. I consider that education has to be aimed at the overall development of child. Our children and young people have a huge potential to contribute to social, political, and economic development. We have a responsibility to work with them as partners and drivers of change. In this regard, during children’s early years, they grow and change rapidly at a drastic rate. They need to be nurtured and loved by those around them, whom they trust for this time to be successful.
