Large-scale eco-seminar included in the Guinness Book of Records
On June 29, 2023, large-scale celebrations were held in Turkmenistan with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in honor of the opening of the new city of Arkadag. The implementation of this megaproject is planned in two stages. As part of the completed first stage of development, 336 social, cultural and other facilities were erected. On the opening day of the ceremonial events at the Rukhyet Palace, the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and sectoral departments, public organizations, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, hyakims of the cities of Arkadag and Ashgabat, foreign guests , representatives of the media took part in the solemn meeting. During the meeting, the heads of international organizations and representatives of foreign companies presented the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov with more than 20 certificates and diplomas awarded to the new city. Among them is the certificate "The most numerous gardening lesson with the participation of 539 people", registered in the Guinness Book of Records. I remember quite recently on the site where the construction of the first stage of the city was carried out at an accelerated pace, a seminar "Organic melon growing and its contribution to the environment" was held, which became the largest such open-air event. The forum, which brought together over 500 specialists in the agricultural sector, was then attended by the adviser on the organization of World Records Aydin Turkgudzhi, who arrived in our country. The topic of preparation for the seminar was discussed in detail during the working trip of the Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, to Akhal velayat in order to get acquainted with the construction of a new "smart" city. Here the Hero-Arkadag talked with the adviser on the organization of World Records, who informed about the organizational issues and objectives of this event. As noted, the choice of the area where the new city is being built for the seminar is not accidental and is predetermined by its theme. The originality of the nature of this picturesque corner of the Turkmen land, where agriculture is actively developing, eloquently testifies to the ecological well-being of the region. Respect for the environment is an essential requirement for all infrastructure projects implemented in our country. Akhal velayat has rich traditions of viticulture and horticulture, which is facilitated by local natural and climatic conditions. Most of the country's vineyards are located in this region, where various varieties are grown. The work carried out here allows not only to solve the problems of creating an abundance of vitamin fruit products in the domestic markets, increasing the export potential of the industry, but, of course, contributes to ensuring environmental well-being. At the end of the lecture, the attending specialists were given the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice by taking part in the planting of grape seedlings. Thus, a new vineyard was laid here, on the territory of which more than 500 seedlings of the “sunny berry” of the “black raisin” variety were planted. This action was a wonderful conclusion to the seminar, which, as noted above, became the largest open-air event of its kind. In our country, the legislative and legal framework regulating this area has been formed and is being systematically improved, a lot of work is being done to preserve biological diversity and natural landscapes, create new vast forest and park areas, promote the "green economy" and environmental diplomacy. Great importance is attached to raising the ecological culture of society. The implementation of the large-scale landscaping program launched in the Fatherland is also a concrete contribution to the global cause of combating the negative effects of climate change. Living in complete harmony with nature, treating it with care as an invaluable national treasure is the primordial life principle of the Turkmen people, which finds its worthy embodiment in the state policy of Turkmenistan in the era of the Revival of the new era of a powerful state, reform programs and grandiose infrastructure projects implemented in the Fatherland.
