HAPPY YOUTH WITH ARKADAG SERDAR: CONFIDENT STEPS TO GREAT DEVELOPMENT
In the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, under the far-sighted leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, fundamental transformations are taking place not only in the national economy, but also in state building, the life of society as a whole, large-scale programs and projects designed to ensure the further development and progress of the Fatherland, the improvement of the well-being of the people. Particular attention was paid to the development of international youth cooperation. As it was emphasized, the tasks in this direction were initially designated among the key items on the agenda of the United Nations, as evidenced by a number of adopted documents. To exchange best practices, it is proposed to intensify ties in the field of education with authoritative international organizations, including the UN, OSCE, EU and CIS.

I heartly congratulate you on the opening of the international scientific-practical conference and exhibition dedicated to Arkadag Serdarly Happy Youth Year. I wish great success to the work of this conference and exhibition, which will contribute to opening up new opportunities for the further development of youth cooperation at the international level. During the Arkadag Serdarly Happy Youth Year, the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan was accepted as an official member of the World Youth Society of UNESCO. The forum of the youth of the Central Asian countries and the People's Republic of China called "The New Age of the Great Silk Road" was held in the city of Mary. All this is a clear sign of the opening of new opportunities for the internationalization of youth cooperation.

With wonderful wishes, pleasant moments, and a solemn new welcome - I wish you more than ever in 2024, your sincere and persistent work, your gifted talent and your creative initiatives will reach higher levels.
On January 28, 2023, the regular VIII Congress of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan the regular was held in the Mekan Palace in the capital, in which delegates of youth organizations from Ashgabat and regions of the country took part in. The agenda included a set of issues of youth policy, discussion of ways to solve current and future tasks set by the President of the country and the Hero-Arkadag - the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the young generation in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state. With great enthusiasm, the participants listened to the Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which emphasized the importance of the forum, designed to become a significant event in the life of Turkmen youth, filled with great love for the Motherland and committed to the ideals of humanism, goodwill and friendship.
It was emphasized that one of the main directions of the state youth policy of Turkmenistan is the promotion of international cooperation, the development of fruitful partnership with reputable structures and youth organizations of various countries in order to strengthen peace and trust on the planet. As it was noted, the youth were very enthusiastic about the legislative recognition of the high status of the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the Hero-Arkadag and his appointment as Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty, which was a sign of deep respect and recognition of the merits of the Hero-Arkadag in strengthening sovereignty, contributed to strengthening international authority and developing the economic potential of the Homeland. Representatives of the younger generation take the words of the national leader with great pride and responsibility: “Our successes, sovereignty, stability in the country and the well-being of the people depend on the younger generation, and I am convinced that young Turkmens will be able to justify this great trust!”.
The youth policy pursued by the President of the country is aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for the formation, development and personal growth of young Turkmen citizens, expanding opportunities for the maximum realization of their intellectual, creative and spiritual potential in the interests of society and the state. The main directions of the national strategy include provision of legal and social protection of young people, popularization of the spiritual, moral and cultural values inherent in the Turkmen people, principles of a healthy lifestyle, education of patriotism, humanism, civic responsibility, as well as support and encouragement of youth initiatives. State policy in this area is inextricably linked with the activities of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, which is the largest public association in the country that defends the interests of young citizens.
As it was noted, the state youth policy is inextricably linked with the activities of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, which unites over 900 thousand members today and is a large association defending the interests of young citizens. This public structure has been established since its foundation, namely since November 16, 1991, it has been fruitfully working on the upbringing of a physically strong, spiritual and moral, hardworking, devoted to the Homeland generation. For more than 30 years, it has been successfully fulfilling the tasks of consolidating its members, directing their strength, abilities, and knowledge to the progressive development of an independent neutral Homeland.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented a new book for our youth called “Youth is the support of the Motherland”. And also our honorable President noted that the younger generation makes a worthy contribution to the development of Turkmenistan.
