Economic Aspects of Supporting Sustainable Development and Peace
In a significant gathering at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, experts convened to discuss the crucial role of economic strategies in fostering sustainable development and peace. The plenary session, themed «Economic Aspects of Supporting Sustainable Development and Peace» brought together distinguished guest speakers to share insights and propose actionable solutions in these critical areas. The session was highlighted by the contributions of Mr.Tomica Paovich, the UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Turkmenistan, and Mr. Vladimir Valetka, the economist from the UN Resident Coordinator's office. Their presentations provided a blend of local insights and global perspectives on the economic challenges and opportunities that lie in the pursuit of sustainable development and peace. Mr.Tomica Paovich addressed the assembly with a focus on how economic policies and practices can be aligned with sustainable development goals.
