Online Webinar: “The creative heritage of Makhtumkuli Fragi and universal values”
On June 14, 2021, the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO has organized online webinar on “The creative heritage of Makhtumkuli Fragi and universal values” which was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Faculty members and the students of the Institute of International Relations and other several academic institutions, as well as the representatives of the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan and Executive committees of the National Commissions for UNESCO from several countries have joined in the online webinar.
Gulshat Yusupova, Vice-Rector for Academic affairs, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan chaired this online webinar.
At the beginning of the webinar the Rector of the Institute International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Jumamurat Gurbangeldiyev made an opening remark.
During the webinar, Chinar Rustamova, Executive Secretary of National Commission for UNESCO of Turkmenistan Mr. Andrei Chevelev, Head of the Asia and the Pacific Division of the UNESCO Secretariat in Paris and Mr. Cvetan Cvetkovski, Director of UNESCO Tehran Cluster Office made welcoming speeches.
At the plenary session of the webinar scientists Dr. Govher Geldiyeva - Head of the Philosophy and Law Sciences Department, Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Geldymurad Mukhammedov - Head of the Department of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan have delivered keynote speeches.
The representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO and scientists from several regional countries have participated and delivered speeches on various topics related to the creative work of Makhtumkuli Fragi.
