“YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR A SHARED FUTURE SUMMER CAMP 2026” LAUNCHED
On July 20, the “Youth Development for a Shared Future 2026” international summer camp, which is held in Beijing, the People's Republic of China, was launched in a solemn atmosphere. This prestigious international event brought together talented young people, students and future professionals from all over the world.
At the opening ceremony of the camp, Zhang Jiming, Vice Chair of the China Soong Ching Ling Charity Foundation, Guo Xinbao, Director of the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Cultural Center for young people, Zhou Bo, Deputy Director, International Cooperation & Exchange Department, So Hongtag, Deputy Director, China Soong Ching Ling Science and Cultural for Young People, and Maya Gayypova, First Secretary of the Asia-Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, spoke in detail about how this international summer camp will make a special contribution to strengthening friendly relations between young people, developing intercultural dialogue and improving their skills.
This summer camp is attended by more than 80 young people from Turkmenistan, as well as from prestigious universities in such countries as The Philippines, Pakistan, The Gambia, Armenia, Spain, Slovenia, Ghana, Thailand, Oman, the Russian Federation, Libya, Montenegro, Slovakia, Mongolia, and Malaysia.
The main goal of this international summer camp is to widely promote mutual understanding, cooperation, and exchange of cultural experiences among young people. During the camp, young participants actively participate in various interactive lessons, cultural events, competitions, and group projects, demonstrating their knowledge and skills. This summer camp is not only an educational and training ground, but also serves as an important platform for establishing strong friendly relations and exchanging experiences between young people from different countries.
