SEMINAR ON «DIGITALIZATION, IT AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION» HELD
On June 13, 2025, a seminar on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) directions, titled «Digitalization, IT, and Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Melda Yildiz, an education specialist from the New York Institute of Technology and a Fulbright Program expert.
The seminar was attended by students and faculty from the institute who are involved in the digitalization of teaching and administration in education, artificial intelligence in education, learning platforms, educational technologies, and related to the topics.
As is well-known, STEM is an educational approach developed by the U.S. National Science Foundation that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, teaching these disciplines in relation to each other for a clear visualization of scientific phenomena.
The seminar contributed to developing the scientific potential of the participants, broadening their horizons, increasing their determination and mastering skills in managing innovative technologies.
During the seminar, Melda Yildiz provided detailed answers to the participants’ questions.
A tour, including the Museum of the History of Turkmen Diplomacy, the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace”, the Training Studio of the Institute and the White Yurta (Ak oy), was arranged for the honorable guest after the meeting.
