The procedure for attaching applicants for the degree of candidate of sciences
Applicants for the degree of Candidate of Sciences may be persons with higher education.
Persons who have completed a full course of postgraduate studies are not eligible to be enrolled as applicants for the degree of Candidate of Sciences.
Attachment of applicants for the preparation of a PhD dissertation is carried out for a period of not more than three years.
It is not allowed to be an applicant at the same time in two or more higher educational institutions or scientific organizations.
To be attached to a higher educational institution or scientific organization, an applicant for a PhD degree must submit:
• an application addressed to the rector of a higher educational institution or the head of a research institution;
• scientific abstract on the chosen topic in accordance with the specialty;
• a copy of a diploma of higher education (for persons who have received higher education abroad, a copy of the relevant diploma and a certificate of its equivalence issued by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan).
An identity document and a diploma of higher education (for persons who have received higher education abroad - an appropriate diploma and a certificate of its equivalence issued by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan) are presented by the applicant personally.
