SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE HAS BEEN HELD ON THE OCCASION OF THE SCIENCE DAY
On June 8, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference titled "The Science and Education System – the Inexhaustible Power of Sustainable Development of the State and Society" on the occasion of the Science Day. Faculty members, student body of the national school of Turkmen diplomacy, and representatives of our country's scientific institutions participated in the event.
Speakers at the conference delivered speeches on the rapid development of the science and education system, which serves as the foundation for the development of the state and society in our country during the years of Independence, as well as on the significance of foreign languages for international relations specialists, the effectiveness of using digital technologies in foreign language learning and the national exemplary experience of Turkmenistan in implementing key areas of diplomacy. Furthermore, conference speakers noted about prominent scientists who lived in the glorious history of the Turkmen people, their achievements, their contribution to global advancements and the development of the science in the modern era.
The scientific-practical conference continued its work in sessions titled “Humanitarian Doctrine – the Main Principle of International Cooperation”, “International Legal Foundations of the Science and Innovation System”, “The Significance of Developing the Scientific Foundations of the Digital Economy” and “Science – a Firm Foundation for Progress and Development”. Speakers in the sessions exchanged views and particularly underlined that owing to the humanitarian policy pursued by our Hero Arkadag and our highly esteemed President necessary conditions are created in our country for the large-scale development of social sciences and humanities alongside all other fields of science, as well as the national experience in implementing sustainable development goals in Turkmenistan, the scientific foundations of preserving historical and cultural values and Magtymguly Pyragy's views on a free, sovereign, and independent state.
