Science Is the Basis of Innovative Development
As part of the celebrations dedicated to Science Day, on June 6, 2024, a scientific and practical conference under the motto “Science and Technology are the Basis of the Present and Future Development of Our State” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The conference was attended by authoritative representatives of the scientific community, leading scientists, research assistants, as well as instructers and students of our university. During the conference, issues such as the development of various scientific fields in the country, the application of innovative methods in research activities were touched upon, and the valuable experience accumulated by the global scientific community was emphasized. Particular attention was paid to the role of science and science diplomacy in strengthening international relations and fruitful cooperation.
Scientists and instructors speaking at the scientific conference emphasized the need to further improve the education and science system in the country, and develop new approaches to using the opportunities of international cooperation. Within the framework of the scientific and practical conference, 4 sections were held: “Science as a Factor in the Sustainable Development of Turkmenistan in the New State of Stability: International Experience,” “Youth Contribution to Improving the Scientific System,” “Science, Innovation – the Path to the Revival and Progress of Our Motherland,” “Science and Education are the Key to Innovative Progress.”
The scientific and practical conference dedicated to Science Day was held at a high level. At the end of the event, the participants expressed their gratitude to the National Leader Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan Hero Arkadagly Serdar for creating favourable conditions for the development of science in the country.
