The scope of international cooperation in the field of science and education is expanding
On March 11, 2024, within the framework of the working visit of the Turkmen delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.O. Meredov to the Republic of Austria, a meeting was held with the participation of rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan J. Gurbangeldiyev, and Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan G. Mezilov, as well as representatives of Graz University of Technology. The Graz University of Technology is the oldest institution of higher education for advanced scientific and technological research with a unique modern international profile.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Turkmen side was introduced to the work, components and campuses of the Graz University of Technology. Thus, at the end of the meeting, the parties presented their proposals and presentations as well as discussed the areas for further cooperation. At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and the Graz University of Technology.
The meeting testifies to the importance of international science and education relations in cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria. The working visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Republic of Austria will last until March 13.
