SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR WAS HELD
On April 7, 2026, a seminar entitled “Development Directions of International Cooperation in the Study of Archaeological Monuments in Central Asia” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The seminar was conducted by Ogulgurban Sapargeldiyevna Ezimova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute and a Candidate of Philosophical Sciences. At the scientific seminar, Allaguly Berdiyev, Head of the Archaeology Department of the Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Candidate of Historical Sciences, as well as with other instructors from the institute, delivered speeches. In their presentations, they spoke in detail about joint projects with international scientists exploring archaeological monuments within our country, highlighting scientific achievements, and future plans, as well as modern trends in international archaeological cooperation and the application of international legal norms in this field.
During the seminar, interesting exchanges of ideas took place between students and faculty. Participants received answers to questions regarding the ancient history of Central Asia, the mutual influence of cultures, and the importance of archaeological research in uncovering historical truths.
This scientific seminar was of great importance in expanding the students’ scientific worldview in their chosen professions and increasing their interest in the cultural and humanitarian aspects of international relations.
