A Scientific and Practical Conference Was Held
On May 14, 2026, a scientific and practical conference entitled “The Constitution of Turkmenistan as the Legal Foundation for the Development of International Cooperation” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the Constitution Day and the State Flag Day of Turkmenistan. The attended conference by professors and lecturers of the institute, students, as well as specialists from the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
The speakers at the conference particularly emphasized that the constitutional principles of Neutral Turkmenistan serve as the basis for the harmony between the country’s domestic and foreign policies. The participants also shared scientific views and valuable information on the improvement of constitutional human and civil rights in our country, as well as on the reflection of national moral principles within the legal system.
The speeches highlighted that the Constitution of Turkmenistan is a bright symbol of the great future of our Motherland and the prosperous life of the people, while the constitutional reforms being carried out are of great importance for improving the legal foundations of the state.
At the conclusion of the conference, the participants expressed words of gratitude to the esteemed President, Hero Arkadag, who is confidently leading our independent state toward new achievements.
Following the plenary session, the scientific and practical conference continued its work in sections entitled: “The Role of the Constitution of Turkmenistan in the Development of International Relations,” “The Development of Turkmenistan’s Legislation during the Years of Independence,” “The Constitution of Turkmenistan as the Legal Basis of National Economic Development,” and “The Constitution of Turkmenistan and the State Flag as Symbols of the Prosperity of Our Beautiful Country.”
