Scientific-Practical Conference Marks Constitution and State Flag Days
On May 14, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific and practical conference titled “The Constitution of Turkmenistan as the Legal Foundation for the Development of International Cooperation”. The event, dedicated to the nation’s Constitution Day and State Flag Day, brought together faculty, students, and legal experts from the Institute of State, Law, and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
The presentations focused on how the constitutional principles of permanent Neutral Turkmenistan create a harmonious balance between domestic and foreign policy. Attendees discussed the ongoing evolution of constitutional human and civil rights in the country, noting how traditional moral values are reflected in the modern legal system. Speakers also emphasized that recent constitutional reforms are key to strengthening the state’s legal framework and securing a prosperous future for the Motherland.
The conference concluded with participants expressing heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed President and Hero Arkadag for their visionary leadership.
The event then transitioned into specialized sectional sessions, which explored the role of the Constitution in international relations, legislative development since independence, national economic growth, and the symbolism of the state flag.
