MEETING ON THE RESULTS OF THE OSCE TRAINING SEMINAR
On December 24, 2025, a meeting was held at the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat,with representatives who had completed the Training-of-Trainers (ToT) seminar on media and information literacy. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Ministries of Education and Adalat, the Supreme Court, the Institute of State, Law, and Democracy, the State News Agency, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the International News Centre, as well as the newspapers «НейтральныйТуркменистан» and «Adalat.»
During the meeting, the participants discussed the outcomes of the recent Training-of-Trainers seminar on media and information literacy. It was noted, that in an era of continuous technological advancement, enhancing the media and information literacy of the younger generation is one of the key priorities. The regular organization of such meetings is of great importance for the exchange of views in this field and for strengthening international cooperation.
