Scientific-Practical Conference on the Occasion of Victory Day
On May 5, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference on the occasion of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 entitled "The High Bravery of Defenders of the Fatherland is a Role Model of Courage for Young People." The meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and other universities.
At the plenary session, Meretguly Tangiyev, Principal Researcher of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, "Brave Heroes - a Great Example of Loyalty to the Fatherland", Batyr Kairov, an instructor of the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mive Nabatova, a lecturer of the Department Theory and Practice of Journalism of the Institute, said "Fathers’ lifestyle is the principle of generations" and Gurbansahet Gurbansahedov, a first-year student at the Institute's International Journalism Faculty, said, "Homeland, service is the meaning of life!"
The Scientific-Practical Conference continued its work in the sections after the Plenary session. The sections entitled "Peace-lovingness is the foundation of the Turkmen people's way", "The impact of the Great Patriotic War on the economic situation of the states", "The glorious victory of our heroic ancestors are the guarantee of a prosperous future". Numerous speeches have been heard on its importance and impact.
Even in 1941-1945, which entered the history of the world as one of the most tragic and bloodiest times, our brave compatriots, who adhered to these sacred norms, stood shoulder to shoulder with the representatives of the fraternal peoples and exemplified their lofty example of bravery and patriotism on the battlefields.
The glory of our brave, courageous ancestors who defended the freedom and independence of our country has entered the history of our people, and the names of our national heroes have been immortalized in the memorial books "Memory" and "Glory".
